We are all incredibly proud of Surf Life Saving Sport and would like to be recognised and appreciated in a similar way to other active mainstream sports. SLSGB would like to bring our sport in line with other sport NGB’s in the UK by following a set of guidelines from UKCC outlining best practice within the coaching environment. For this to happen we need more Level 2 Lead Coaches within our clubs who are leading club activities/training nights (all of our clubs should have a minimum of one Level 2 Coach present for all coaching sessions). For our clubs to meet these requirements the focus for this year is on the development of individuals at club level to become Level 2 Coaches and for this we need to develop a team of highly motivated, enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Coach Trainers.
