Watergate Bay SLSC is located on the slip way to Watergate Bay beach.
We are a small and fun Surf Life Saving Club, promoting beach awareness and safety through learning and sport.
Our trained Coaches and Lifeguards lead our groups during beach sessions no matter the ability of the child.
We split our groups up into 3 categories
Sand Hopper – 5 to 7
Nipper – 8 to 13
Youth – 14 to 18
The Nipper and Youth age groups are encouraged to participate in SLSGB awards to progress their journeys to becoming fully qualified Lifeguards.
Watergate Bay SLSC compete in both local and national pool and beach competitions, and all members are encouraged to join in.
We regularly hold social events, beach BBQs, Pizza nights, meets at local supporters Wax Watergate Bay etc.
