South Worcestershire Lifeguard Club

SWLLC is a professional and successful voluntary organisation primarily based at Pershore leisure centre. The club’s main training night is on a Sunday Evening from 17:00 – 20:00.

Our mission is to provide all members with knowledge and skills in order to develop an awareness for water safety and to obtain a knowledge base to assist any individual who may be in distress in a water environment.

As a Club we:

  • Teach all members a variety of Lifesaving techniques 

  • Develop young members from an early age to become future professional volunteers

  • Provide an Aquatic Rescue Service at local events

  • Provide a Flood Rescue service which is part of a coordinated national/international response group 

Actively compete in Lifesaving Sport both regionally & nationally in RLSS and SLSGB competitions.
