Having started in 1959 GSLSC was reformed in May 2010 after a 13 year break. We aim to give children lifelong water skills and respect for the sea with the aim of nuturing the next generation of lifeguards for southwest Cornwall.
Teaching children how to stay safe in the sea we aim to build their confidence and give them the skills enjoy the beach and sea safely with the hope that they will become the next generation of lifeguards in south west Cornwall

Affiliated clubs form our lifesaving community, welcoming all to the fitness, fun and thrill of knowing how to be at one and in total control with the elements and together enjoy the beach and ocean.
Or if you are a training centre, by accrediting with SLSGB you are able to deliver our awards and qualifications.
