For over 25 years, Keith Devine has been a constant presence at WSLSC — as coach, competitor, committee member and supporter.

He coached across Nippers and Youth sections while supporting his daughters, who went on to compete for Great Britain. Even as his children progressed, Keith remained actively involved — giving time to sessions, mentoring younger members and supporting club growth.

He continues to compete as a Master, demonstrating that commitment to sport does not diminish with age. In recent years, Keith undertook the complex task of implementing an automated payment system for the club — a significant administrative overhaul that required diligence and persistence. The result has been improved financial structure and an additional £8,000 in membership income secured through accurate systems.

Keith’s contribution spans practical coaching, committee leadership and modernisation behind the scenes. His quiet reliability strengthens the club in ways that are often unseen but always felt.
